I have been at Shamrock for over three years and primarily work with students in elementary and middle schools, specializing in all subjects. I work closely with students, parents, staff, and teachers (when necessary) to help the students achieve their goals. I try to relate and build a rapport with my students and create a positive, encouraging atmosphere for learning while respecting each individual's learning style. I feel it is vital to praise students regularly in order to increase their self confidence and motivation. I take a genuine interest in each and every one of my students and always try to go that extra mile for them. I invest a great deal of time and energy into my students and am always rewarded with every effort and bit of progress they make.

I attended both El Camino College and CSU Long Beach where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. During the day I am a one-on-one Instructional Aide at Washington Middle school. I have also completed a workshop in tutoring ESOL conducted in accordance with Laubach Literacy Action. I truly believe that my most valuable education happens every time I teach!
