Summer School is scheduled in 2-hour sessions. As Shamrock works closely with many schools in the South Bay community, many local public and private schools allow us to help students make up courses for a letter grade in leiu of attending traditional summer school. Please contact us to find out if your child's school allows classes to be retaken for a letter grade at Shamrock Tutoring.
So why not just send your child to summer classes provided by the school? First, we have a more flexible schedule than traditional summer school, which allows students to be involved in many summer activities they would not normally be able to participate in. Additionally, we provide individualized instruction with a program tailored to meet students' specific needs, unlike traditional summer school with more than 30 students per class. We work closely with students and their families to ensure that students who retake classes with us finish the course with at least a "B" grade, and are confident in the knowledge they've gained.
