The above mentioned appointment times are one hour in length. For example, if a student is scheduled for the 3:00 pm time slot, his/her session ends at 4:00 pm. However, this does not limit the student to only an hour per day. If you wish for your student to have a two-hour tutoring session, please inform us when scheduling your appointment. These appointment times are consistent from September through May, but may vary during the summer months. Please contact our office during the months of June through August for more information on summer hours. Please also note that on Saturdays, we always have tutors available for regular sessions, and that Fridays and Saturdays are used as a make-up days for students that miss an appointment during the week.
School Holidays
Shamrock tutoring serves both public and private school students, which often follow different academic calendars. In order to best meet the needs of all students, we ask that parents contact our office in the event of any student absence, even if the student's school is closed for a holiday. If a student misses an appointment, and no arrangements have been made prior to the student's absence, a missed appointment fee will apply.
