Shamrock Tutoring has been serving the educational needs of South Bay students for over 20 years. Our excellent staff is extensively trained and highly qualified to assist in your child's learning. In fact, most of our teachers are credentialed professionals, who are full time teachers at local colleges, high schools, middle and elementary schools.
At Shamrock, we pride ourselves on providing tutoring that is both affordable and educational. Assisting students in grades K-12 as well as college level courses, Shamrock Tutoring offers a variety of educational programs for accelerated students, as well as those students in need of developing their skills and study habits. In an environment conducive to student learning and growth, Shamrock teachers and staff strive to meet the needs of students of all levels, whether by simply helping students prepare for classes during the school year or refresh academic areas lacking proficiency.
In an effort to better provide for the educational needs of South Bay students and parents, Shamrock Tutoring was born. Since 1991, Shamrock has taken pride in keeping close contact with parents, teachers, and students regarding student progress. For over 20 years, Shamrock has provided an affordable learning experience that is tailored to meet student's needs, where they not only gain knowledge and understanding but also the confidence and self-esteem it takes to be successful.
Sheri Hester, the owner and founder of Shamrock Tutoring, has been in the educational field for over 30 years. As a former teacher and Vice Principal of St. Catherine Laboure and former teacher of St. James, she taught and mentored thousands of students over the years, some of whom struggled to learn basic skills, some who were already exceptional and wanted to maintain high achieving grades, and others who simply needed a little extra motivation to maximize their full potential.
She realized over 20 years ago that there was a need in the South Bay for quality and affordable tutoring, but it just wasn't available. Thus, she began Shamrock Tutoring, in order to better provide for the educational needs of South Bay students.
